The Snowpark Moreboards Stubai Zoo on Gaiskarferner, a sunny slope with a spectacular panorama, wins points for the variety of lines for beginners and pros.

Cross-country skiing

There is hardly another winter sport which requires the use of so many muscles as cross-country skiing.

Regardless of whether classical style or skating ...

The Stubai Valley offers ideal conditions for all cross-country friends:

Enjoy the variety of cross-country on all together 130 perfectly prepared kilometres of tracks in various levels of difficulty, and at differing heights. Special highlights are the 45 km high track around Serles, as well as the night track in Milders, lit daily from 5:00 – 10:00 pm.

Our pension lies directly on the cross-country track and is also the starting point for many beautiful routes.

Glide through glittering snow fields, and fairytale forests!

Tobogganing

The Stubai Valley is a paradise for tobogganers.

There are altogether 10 toboggan runs – all perfectly prepared and lie in fascinating mountainous landscape. The longest run in Tirol is 8 km and runs from Elfer directly to Neustift centre. A relaxed evening in a traditional mountain hut followed by an exhilerating toboggan ride down shouldn't be missing on your winter holiday in Stubai Valley.

Snow shoe walking

Go for a walk on snow shoes through distant fields and forests, experience the breathtaking backdrop and the peace of the Stubaier mountains!
Naturally there are also guided half or whole day tours and walks!

Ice skating

Our ice rink in Neustift with 600m² of ice is directly next to the music pavillion. Ice skating is a winter sport for young and old. The smooth movements and the breathing in of fresh mountain air increases circulation and fills your body with oxygen!

Curling

Sunday from 7.30 pm curling!

Outside the opening times reservations can be made for curling, ice hockey, etc, directly at the ice rink in Neustift.

Ice climbing

Whether on the 20 m high ice climbing tower on Stubaier Glacier, or where possible on the ice falls of the Grawa Waterfall and the Pinnistalfalls – you'll be taking unforgettable impressions home.
Every Friday, during the whole winter, ice climbing on the 20m high ice climbing tower, near the top station Gamsgarten, under instruction of a mountain guide from the Mountainguide School Stubai Alpin is on offer.

Sleigh rides

A romantic sleigh ride is the most relaxing way to see the Stubai Valley.

Winter walking

More than 80 km well cleared winter walking tracks, invite you to a romantic walk through the Stubai Valley. Forests covered in deep snow, snow fields glittering in the sun, idyllic alms and an unrivalled mountain backdrop, make a walk through the valley an awesome experience.

The Stubai Valley from a birds eye view is an experience you'll never forget! The Stubai Valley is well known to gliders way passed its boundaries. Particularly paragliding-tandem flights are popular with beginners and make for an extraordinary holiday-highlight!
